Question Just got a hd tv for the bedroom

Just got a VW32L for the bedroom, haven't hooked it up yet but, had a quick question for those who are informed on this tv.

1. Does the tuner that is built in let me recieve ABC,NBC,CBS and, FOX in HD w/out having to get another hd cable box(Don't want to shell out the money for another cable box, since The Sopranos is over with)?

2. Is the tuner built in, or do I have to go get an HD antenna from Best Buy or somewhere?

Thanks for the help w/the info guys, you've always been a knowledgeable source and a help w/all my other questions in the past. By the way any news on my Pulp Fiction on BD yet, or do they still have their thumbs up their respective azzs'

1 more thing, I just switched from sbc to Roadrunner internet, how do I change my e-mail address associated w/my tag for the website?

Any other reccomendations, or is that the best one you've had experience with? Anyone else have suggestions?

if you have an outdoor antenna you shouldnt need a hdindoor one...i can only get pbs/opb in hd but im trying to find out why i cant get the regular ones..either they not outputting out full power yet or my walmart tv isnt good enough to get the signal or i need an antenna and cable that arent 20 years old lol but if you have an outdoor antenna you should get them

So there's not a built in antenna in that model of tv I have to recieve the basic hd channels such as NBC, ABC, or FOX?

you should be able to let the internal tv tuner pick up the hd channels. Thats what both my vizios can do and the one in my master bedroom is hocked up that way.

built in antenna, no. built in digital tuner, yes. so you either have to get one of those digital indoor antennas if youre close to the broadcasting places or get an outdoor antenna if youre far away

I also have a built-in tuner, but I'm pretty sure you have to get an High-Def antenna, they are usually about $30-$40. Most electronics-type stores sell them. I am getting one for mine soon so I can get rid of my basic-cable service, which is $10 a month. I hardly watch TV so it will pay for itself pretty quickly.
