New Job!!

I just got a new job (starting on Oct 2) and I'm very excited. I just got a nice healthy raise that will

1. Allow me to get engaged to my lovely girlfriend.
2. Fun my gearslut expenditures which entail a new HDTV monitor, HD DVD and Blu-Ray player and AVR and Speakers.

Life is good. Future plans will be a bigger house with the new wifey. A child are two and a Projector based dedicated theatre if space permits. Woooohooooo.

Ahhh marriage is for simps...

Just string her along, dont do it. it's not worth it.

1) Marriage is the leading cause of divorce.

2) Marriage is an institution, that you have to be committed to.
Anyone who would want anything to do with that has to be nuts!

3) The antidote to sex= wedding cake.

I know it seems like a fairytale theory but it's the worst way to go!
They don't try as hard when they know they got you locked in!!!

And your Hometheatre dream room...you have kids..

my buddies bachelor party we had in san diego. we pretty much went nuts. anyway, at the wedding we parked my car right next to the back door and told him we can high tail it and be in s.d. where he could change his name and not be on any bills. i seriously think he considered it. the funniest part is that my dad volunteered to have a car waiting in case he decided to bolt.

It's nice to be paid more what you're worth. The company i'm starting with on monday is pretty damn solid and private so no kowtowing to Wall street just yet.

It'll shock you guys but if things go really well( ie the wedding doesn't cost an arm leg and first born) I'll be into the Blu-Ray player before you know it..much to the shock of many of you

In no particular order.

1. Lethal Weapon 2- The sequel outdoes the original here. A rare feat.
2. Terminator 2- Another great sequel
3. Underworld Evolution- "that" Kate Beckinsale scene sealed the deal
4. Good Night and Good Luck- Love B&W films this one should be nice.
5. Stargate- own the DVD would gladly double dip.
6. Tears of the Sun- enjoyed the movie the PQ makes this a must have
7. Black Hawk Down- read Bowdens book before the move. Must purchase
8. Gattaca- Something about this movie just works for me
9. Kingdom of Heaven- I want the full cut here.
10. The Usual Suspects- Kaiser Sose!
