Google has a new service called Google Checkout, which basically just allows you to checkout using your google account rather than have individual accounts for stores. Anyway, they have a promotion going on now that is $10 off any purchase of $30 or more at participating sites. Apparently Buy.com is one of them, but I can't get it to work. DVD Empire did work. Once you add two Blu-Ray movies to your cart, you will see a "Checkout with Google" icon. Click on it and buy to get $10 off your order. Note: You have to have a Google account (email address) to take advantage.

I see no one used this, but I just want to update and say that my DVDEmpire order came in and was perfect. Though, I have found an even greater deal using Bestprices.com. A couple people said they were legit, so I figured I'd give them a try. Here is what I ordered:

Training Day - $18.99
Total Recall - $18.99
Shipping - $3.97
Discount - ($10.00)
Total: $31.95

So that is $16 a disc. Not too shabby. There selection is good, and the deal works on preorders, so when the order comes in next week, and everything is good, I'll be preordering Black Hawk Down and Kingdom of Heaven (one of the few places that takes Google Checkout with preorders). I'll let you guys know how everything turns out.

Dang looks like I missed out. They've got Total Recall up to $21.59 now.

At DVDEmpire it is $21.59 (that is what I paid for Terminator 2 and Devil's Rejects). Use BestPrices.com for the $18.99.

If you want to wait to make sure everything comes okay, I will be posting my experience with this retailer.

Can you use this google discount multiple times? Looks like Best Prices does have some great prices.

Yup. I've used it twice already. I plan on using it a few more times before it expires (I believe its good for October).

I just got my BestPrices.com order. Both disc perfect. Ordered on the 8th, shipped on the 9th, and received the 12th. Not too shabby. Definitely ordering with them again (especially with this Google deal).

Thanks for the info on the site. I pretty much exclusively use DVDEmpire for their awesome shipping and ordering interface, but it's good to have other options as well.
