Default Finding Accurate & Correct Answers

When I want 'absolute' accurate and correct answers I go to the source. I use email instead of the phone, so I have a documented answer, that I can refer too and share with other, like here on the Forum.

When we were discussing and debating the virtues of HDMI 1.3 I simply went to the HDMI Licensing, LLC website and got the information I was looking for, then used that information at CEDIA for a discussion with them at their booth.

When I wanted to know when IMAX productions would be available on either Blu-Ray or HD-DVD I again simply went to the source . . . IMAX and got an email back from the V.P. of IMAX.

So, what am I getting at here ? Well, some of the answers we seek on the Forum are sometimes right under our nose . . . your keyboard . I have found all that I encounter, via email or phone very cordial and cooperative. I do, from time to time, bypass my manufacturer's rep and go direct to the manufacturer for answers. Who knows, we may be only seconds away from our answer. Just a thought

Jim
