So far the rest of the season's dvd set have been released end of summer, around when the next new season is about to start. Season 7 still has about 5 or 6 episodes to air in 2008 that they were able to get ready before the writer's strike happened.

Maybe it will be changing to an earlier date because of the strike, but who knows. Since they are still working on filming some episodes from what i can tell, I think we are still at least a little while away from any announcements.

First let me say this.......I love Smallville. I've watched it from day one and I am a fan. That being said....maybe the writer's strike is a good thing in that it will allow them to rest and compose themselves before writing some more shows that are just God awful. The last season and a half has left me very disappointed.
This show is dangerously close to the end of it's run and I just want to see it go out with a bang instead of fading into mediocrity. Clark deserves better than that.

I totally agree with Magic. But to answer the main question of the post, don't expect anything till fall.

As for Smallville, OMG I LOVE IT. I actually went down to B.C. a few months ago and went to the Kent Farm. You have no idea how cool it was. They weren't filming or anything but, seeing the barn, the house, the Kent sign. It was/is my graceland. I had a blast.

Oh and for those that didn't notice, The Daily Planet is also Fantastic 4 HQ in FF2. When they are getting interviewed before the wedding check the building doors. And if you look when they change angles you can see Luthorcorp across the street.

that doesn't really make sense...the FF is MarvelU, and Supes is DCU...

as for smallville, the show peaked in season 3...and then just turned shit, S5 was ok, but I think that they've stretched out the show for waaaaaaaaay too long...they've killed off all the characters and brought them back too many times....basically they should just turn CK into Superman have him move to metropolis and be done with it...this show needs to end alrady

I thought season 5 was pretty amazing, Season 6 has been my favorite season of all, and I think 7 is doing a damn good job so far. I love it, but I guess everything is different for everyone.

In real life, not in the comic books. They used the same building in both Smallville and FF2.
