If 10 Cloverfield Lane doesn't end up at least toward the middle of the pack of the top 25 then I'm going to tear shit up.

I didn't really follow the other thread too closely, so this years winner isn't as clear cut as last. It's pretty up in the air for me. I can see Hell or High Water, La La Land, The Witch all making it pretty high up.

I'm gonna guess Deadpool wins, but Rogue One, La La Land, and Arrival could all possibly upset. Would be very surprised if anything else wins.

Moonlight? Seemed to rank high on many lists. Didn't it win some kind of major award?

I'm sure Deadpool made a lot of people's lists, considering there are 25 spots...but did that many people have it super high up?

Going off the fact that most winners in the past tend to be fanboy movies (not using that term derisively...) that have some crossover appeal, Deadpool seems like a safe bet. Wasn't my #1 but it made my top 10...

EDIT: actually Deadpool, Arrival, and La La Land all made my top 10, and the latter two made my top five. Rogue One didn't make the list lol

I would hope most people came to their senses by February and realized Deadpool is not very good...

Gone Girl and Drive are the least "fan-boy" of the winners. I mean, they definitely have their cult legend status, but not fan boys in a typical blockbuster action movie type of way.

FWIW, Deadpool was number 71 for me, Arrival number 63, and I never saw Rogue One. La La Land did make my number 2 spot though!

Same here. LLL and Arrival will definitely chart pretty high. I dunno how many of the other awards contenders will crack the top 10 though. Maybe (hopefully) Hell or High Water. And I have a feeling Hacksaw Ridge will do pretty well. I wish I'd put Moonlight higher but I only got a chance to see it once before the deadline; having seen it twice on BD since then, I'd have moved it into my top 10 rather than at #20.

EDIT: Oh and I'm sure the animated movies will end up kinda high, especially Kubo and Zootopia. (Kubo made my list, Zootopia barely missed.)
