Default hello, newbie here

hello, newbie here wanting to start buying blu rays. right now i have about 200+ dvds, tv shows like house of cards, game of thrones.

should i just buy my whole collection again but on blu ray? buying game of thrones twice is a pain but the picture quality looks top notch. i did buy the hunger games on blu ray yesterday £3 each from hmv pretty good deal even though i already have it on dvd.

how is the packaging with blu rays when a series gets big do they release them in those big plastic cases or cardboard cases which i despise both with a passion and will not buy, been waiting for ages for season 6 to get a plastic case release.

Is buying media on both dvd and blu ray not practical? i was thinking of not buying anime in blu ray format but i'm not really sure yet.

Also i have been trying to add my dvds to my collection on this site but when i search some things don't show up like "pretty little liars or the good wife" i had to use google to find it on here. am i doing something wrong.

would be great to get to know you all.

bit about me:
I love gaming on steam(pc) I'm also studying for my Bsc in business computing.
I tattoos and artwork.

being a collector of dvds soon to be blu ray i like having individual cases not the big cases with loads of discs in them i also do not like cardboard sleeves for dvds. south park was a exception as i could not find a plastic case version for it lol.

look forward to hearing from you all
