Anyone know if there's any plans for The munsters and the Addams family getting released on BE? The dvds look great but I can only imagine what they would look like in HD

So we are getting the complete series of Flipper on Blu, yet still no sign of either The Munsters or the Addams Family. Hopefully we get them eventually, those are both day-one purchases for me.

Both are wonderful shows. I personally enjoyed The Munster's a bit more, but found both shows entertaining and hysterical to watch. I can only hope for a bluray release of these two shows.

Not sure if I've seen a full episode of The Addams Family, but I used to love watching The Munsters on TBS as a kid. The only problem with shows is there are so many of them out there and it's tough to commit to one, especially if they're long running. Most tv now I'll gravitate towards shorter miniseries that can be binge watched in a few days. For example, I wanted to buy The Untouchables series the other day when I was in Big Lots but kind of balked at the 75 hour run time.

I think there are only about 69 25-minute episodes of The Munsters.

The Addams Family is supposedly coming from Capelight in Germany. It's been in the works for quite some time.

Announced in April of 2023. I wonder if it's still happening.

Yeah, I wonder what happened to it. It was supposed to go up for pre-order last December and Capelight even published the artwork for it. Since then, I don't think Capelight has said a single word about it. Strange.

Capelight have just confirmed on X that The Addams Family is still "in the works".
