By the way i hope i gave you a good laugh, There is nothing that anyone can complain about, there is zero artifacting anywhere, the pic is rock solid and the outdoor scenes look amazing.

Rank it with your other movies. Mines Click, Tears, Stargate...

Talking Watching Click right now . . .

I paused after 1/2 hour of watching to check in here.

It is extremely good as I expected. All the Blu-rays I've looked at in the last couple of days are.

I rank it as

1) The Great Raid
2) Click
3) Eight Below / S.W.A.T.
4) Corpse Bride

Oh yeah, the Samsung plays it without any problem at all. I've been watching all these movies on the "crappy" Samsung! (I'm getting the Sony in a couple of weeks and we'll see how good these can look then!)

One thing I will add to the fact that the picture quality is incredible: the menu system is another feature worthy of notice. I think Sony used some of the disc capacity in authoring the really fancy menu system. It looks like it might contain 2 HD graphics layers. Anyway it looks pretty complex and very cool to watch. I just stared at it for a minute before putting on the movie.

The reviewer who couldn't bring himself to say that this disc is awesome was an HD-DVD fanboy.

I just got done watching Click... Didn't expect the movie to be so sad... .Awesome PQ, audio nothing to brag about, but its a comedy/drama, so no points taken off there... My Samsung player played the disc without a hiccup at all. I looked at the deleted scenes and some of the featurettes as well and no problems. Looks like the first BD-50 was implemented very well, and I can't wait for more BD50s to throw at the Sammy.

My build date is August 2006, so I doubt that it is the exact same firmware as the original units as I have no hourglass, but it still skips on DTS.
