Since they are coming from Olive, I assume these are actually a Signature releases.

I knew that there was a good reason why I've dragged my feet with regard to buying the existing Blu-ray of Father Goose. I used to love watching that film on TBS SuperStation, though.

Tremendously awesome! I've owned both for a while, but I cannot wait to upgrade to releases with a few special features, subtitles, and hopefully better covers.

I hope these are Signature releases. They haven't released any titles in that line for a while so I was a bit concerned that perhaps they discontinued it.

The Signature editions of Operation Petticoat and Father Goose are both available for pre-order from Deep Discount for $23.99, which is the lowest price I could find, up to this point.

However, I've never ordered from them directly. From a packaging and shipping standpoint, are they pretty decent?

If you’re buying one or two titles they send them in those cardboard mailers with the sticky film on the inside.

Do they charge your credit card immediately?
Are cancellations easy with them?

Yes (perhaps now only when shipped) - and No. Their packing used to be pressed sticky, pressed cardboard - I think sometimes (?) they don't do that now. The memory is weak with this one.

Nevermind. I just cancelled my order altogether.

Robert Harris just reviewed both new signature discs (at HTF) and found them both lacking. It seems to him that both transfers are the same as before. Dirty. Damage marks. Color issues.

Same here. Per RAH, same transfer just a higher bitrate. Marginal improvement. I cancelled both my pre orders as well.

Looks like the release date has been delayed to address encoding issues. Hopefully they announce an updated release date since I ordered through ImportCDs and can't find anything about canceling an item and re-ordering somewhere else.

Unless by "encoding issues" they mean they encoded the wrong masters, I'm sitting this one out. Not rebuying unless the scan is new.
