Disney The Incredibles 2 3D Blu-ray (2018) [Region Free]

Incredibles 2 has been released on REGION FREE 3D Blu-ray worldwide except in America where Disney refuses to release any more 3D Blu-rays.

If you're in America and want this in 3D, you can import it from anywhere you like - links to the UK discs are below but every disc in every country has English audio and is REGION FREE.

Original post:
I did a search and could not find a thread for this release. If indeed there is one please move this trailer to that thread. Thanks.

Default The Incredibles 2 3D (2018)

I couldn’t find an existing thread so I’ll start one off.

3D (Russian) Trailer:

Looks like standard (upper mild/medium) Pixar fare. Running through walls bit looked good though.

Yeah, I got an Incredibles 2 trailer in IMAX 3D a couple times, as well as A Wrinkle in Time one. Seems odd if not outright misleading to have those trailers when the films will just be IMAX 2D in the US (I do see some 3D showings on sale for non IMAX premium formats at least)

I'm guessing it's because they have 3D versions in regular cinemas? ...That's happened with a lot of movies over the last year or so, IMAX 3D trailer, then, when it's released, it's only IMAX 2D, OR, each IMAX will be different, a mix of 2D/3D showings, or just 2D at some IMAX's.

I just don't get the trend. IMAX 3D is better, brighter, better glasses than regular 3D. If I'm going to IMAX, I want it to be IMAX 3D, if the movie has a 3D version available.

Just to confirm, in case anyone reading this doesn't know yet, The Incredibles 2 will only be in IMAX 2D in North America. If you want to know more about IMAX releases, go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IMAX_DMR_films

Some people HATE 3D (with a blind, seething...well hate!) They don't want IMAX 3D. They don't want 3D ANYTHING. They want 3D to DIE and they're lobbying Congress to do this via the NAA (National Anti-3D Association). I found this information in one of their flyers at the county fair last year!

Brothers, you too can join the NAA! Among our goals is to teach 2D safety!

1>
NEVER aim a remote at a TV unless you're prepared to use it!

2> NEVER press play unless you're prepared to watch the movie!

3> IF you're gong to clean your remote, make sure there are no batteries in the chamber! You wouldn't want that remote going off accidentally and causing a movie to play!

They also teach to fight against the 3D Liberation Front!

1> Dispose all 3D glasses in a trash bin where they belong and damage the battery on active glasses so they can't be retrieved by 3D Movies Matter supporters!

2> If you're going to handle 3D movies, you're going to need a Concealed Blu-Ray license so you can sneak it past all those 3D liberal movie lovers on its way to nearest dump!!!

Finally, please consider donating generously to the RTA (Recovering Three-D Addicts) to help all of those recovering "The Earth is Round" liberals that have decided to come back to us to the land of 2D!

Flatland rules forever! Flat Earth!!!!

I think a lot of people are put off by the extra cost to see 3D. Cheapskates. With 3D, you get to see two versions of the movie, at the same time!

Looks like the Imax theaters around here are all 2D only. Will have to settle for realD 3D.

That's something about the anti-3D pro 2D group out there.

On topic, Incredibles 2 3D I'll consider checking out, but I'm mostly a fan of certain parts of the original movie, like when they face against the main villain at the end. That was cool. This looks potentially good though.

That is false advertising what Disney is doing because i remember seeing the trailer when i saw Avengers: Infinity War in IMAX 3D.

Why would they attach a 3D trailer in front of the IMAX 3D version of Avengers: Infinity War, and then decided at the last minute to release this in IMAX 2D only in the U.S.?

Makes no sense, whatsoever.

I also got the trailer in IMAX 3D with Solo, and by then tickets were already on sale so don't think it was anything last minute and was very misleading (and I know it is getting a regular 3D release, but with films releasing in 3D but not IMAX of any kind, the trailers never play in IMAX 3D from my experience).

I'm guessing animated movies will pretty much just be in IMAX 2D domestically now, though at least for some of the bigger releases they seem to be having more sense and offering an IMAX 3D option as well (saw Pacific Rim, Ready Player One, Infinity War, Solo, and their documentary Pandas all in IMAX 3D recently).

Unless Disney owns IMAX, they can't force them to show the movie in 3D. The previews are paid for by Disney and provided by Disney. Blame IMAX for not playing what Disney is offering. Also, just because US Imax theaters aren't showing 3D, doesn't mean other countries won't unless it's a corporate wide policy. Hollywood is convinced US audiences don't like 3D much anymore.

Nope, if they want it released in IMAX 3D, IMAX will comply:

"We listen to our filmmaking partners," he adds, saying directors that want to release their movies in 3D will continue to have Imax's support

BS. It was Imax's decision to stop 3D. Disney isn't the director either. Some directors don't give a shit either way. Stop trying to shift the blame. It's 100% Imax's decision. Their announcement. No one is stopping them from showing it. NO ONE. Stop the lying.

Will this be available from Disney on Blu-ray 3D?
...Like in North America from ordering across the oceans.
Do they come by planes or by boats? Amazon Europe probably uses the fastest route...the air. And for non-premium members...the water.

Hopefully it will get a 3D Blu-ray release but Disney decided way back in the Frozen days to not release 3D Blu-rays in America and now they're not doing it even for massive sellers like Marvel and Star Wars movies, so if it does come out, you'll have to import or change the leadership at Disney.

The real question is whether there will be a box set including the first movie in 3D, Pixar converted it years ago but have been sitting on it since...
