Will there be a trilogy box further down the line though? I know the first one is the best, but it would still be good to have them all in a 4K set.

Yeah that's why I'm going to hold on. I'm not bothered about Revolutions but Id like Reloaded.

Same, I don't see the point in buying one when there's most likely a boxset down the line and especially given the previous Matrix boxset releases that included a plethora of extras not included on the individual releases. If this included some new extras i'd be more tempted to jump on it straight away, but as it is i'll hold out hope for an Ultimate style release/ If for some bizzare reason they don't release the other movies on 4K then i'm happy to wait for this to be included in some 2 for £30 sale, but i doubt WB will just leave easy money on the table with this series.

REALLY want but I'll wait until I can pick it up in person at HMV. Been burned with Warner releases dropping bonus features here before.

Hope the 3 disc listing is accurate

My BD boxset isn't going anywhere so I'm buying the UHD anyway, extras or not.

Sorry to double post this here, but I'm sure it's lost in the main thread with everyone posting about their pickup and slipcase woes - I figured I'd have a go here where there's much less traffic.

I hadn't pre-ordered... ordered the UK release since I had a credit on Amazon and it's cheaper / available compared to other options.

They sure crammed a lot of languages onto the included new Blu-ray disc for the UK release though, looks like a few more than the US release - can anyone comment on the video bitrate of the UK and/or US new Blu-rays?

The UK UHD was expanded from a BD66 to a BD100 to include those extra language tracks. Warners have done this several times before e.g. Prestige, Batman Begins, a few of the Harry Potters.

Right - I was able to pick up that detail from the other thread, but I was asking about the included new Blu-ray, not the UHD. Which is why I said Blu-ray, and not UHD

I'm now seeing some posts re: the included new Blu-ray is crap though, so I guess the question is really no longer relevant.

Yes, but it's a controversial one so you want to check out the caps first.

Detail is much better but they've regraded it to remove the green tinged in-Matrix footage, which is crap. Is that the general consensus?

The excessive green was a change they made for the 2004 DVD re-release so with it dialed back the film is now closer to how it looked theatrically but the remastered Blu-ray suffers from blown out whites...

Yes, that's pretty much it. It's a bit too cyan blue for some tastes, perhaps an uptick detail wise compared to the '08 Blu. Personally I think the UHD looks great though.
