Default My High School Newspaper Promoting Blu-ray!

I was reading through my high school's newspaper(which I usually never do) today and flipping through the pages I noticed an article about Blu-ray. Didn't expect to see that, that's for sure, but pretty cool none-the-less....

Anyways, thought I'd share it with you guys...

Here is a scan:

It's pathetic that "Maggie Schreiber" copies her information directly off of Wikipedia, but nonetheless, free advertisement for Blu-ray.

I just wouldn't copy off of her in class, it'd be kind of obvious, if she just is writing word for word what she sees on Wikipedia .

Thanks for posting

Ha. Thats so cool!

Wish my school did that... ive been trying my best to mention blu-ray in all my computer technology assignments.

Best one was - I had to describe what i thought the greatest acheivement in technology was within the past 2 years.
Guess what I put?

That's harsh. This is American high school... not college. Be glad Maggie can read and write AT ALL, let alone an article on Blu-ray.

Actually, plagiarism is a very, very serious one. You can get either suspended or expelled even in high school.

Yep. Hope she isn't graded for the newspaper. I recognized the text as soon as I began reading (I was reading the Blu-ray Wikipedia article a week ago). I knew she didn't write it. I mean, how hard would it have been for her to put it into her own words? I always used to copy from the internet and books, but it's fine if you reword it so that it is completely different.

No slack will be given here. She's a future criminal, that girl is. She's starting out young :P

You're assuming Maggie didn't write the original Wikipedia article.

/sarcasm
