I received a Mitsubishi WD-73732 DLP yesterday for free and was told that the only problem that the previous owner had with it was that they couldn’t get it to turn on after they replaced the lamp. I’ve owmed Mitsubishi DLPs in the past so that was a pretty easy fix.
That was not the only issue. When I did get it going, the display was filled with an obnoxious amount of flickering horizontal green lines. After about 30 minutes, the lines are red and less obnoxious and less prominent depending on the colors of the image on the display. ![]() ![]() Video here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c0cf8wo68q...%20PM.mov?dl=0 I’m hoping that this is an easy fix like changing out a color wheel or a DLP chip. It’s not really a big deal as this is just an extra TV, but it would be nice to get it going if I could. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. |
