Curious how they are going to do this. If it’s set in the Warrens house will Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return? And if it’s centered in a ten year old Judy will they bring back Sterling Jerins who played Judy in the first two Conjuring movies? The actress is fourteen now. Are they just going to recast and go for a younger Judy? Should be interesting to see how they handle it but I would prefer the return of all the original actors for continuity sake.

I wouldn’t say it was excellent. It was nowhere near the quality of the first two Conjuring films for example . It was good sure,but excellent? Not for me.

First thought was 'eh', but given how well Annabelle: Creation turned out I'm willing to give this one a chance (I still think the first Annabelle is bad and not a worthy entry in the The Conjuring universe).

I agree - Creation was surprisingly good whereas the first entry was NOT good. Ill watch this via rental or whatever and see if it works out.

I'm down for this. Creation was my favorite horror movie in a long time and I'm itching to see The Nun in a few months. Love The Conjuring universe and can't get enough of it, my kind of horror.

If you're looking for an Annabelle film that is more like Chucky, I would suggest Dolly Dearest. Not the best film but a neat little 90's horror flick. I really hope Vestron releases it at some point.

Guys, quick question. Are Universal Blu-ray’s from the USA normally region free? I’m hoping to grab ‘The Nun’ before the end of the year as the U.K normally has to wait longer for our releases.

Yes Universal are region free. The studio name is very apt in this instance.

So a 3rd Annabelle movie that still does not tell the story that the Warren's alluded to in the very first Conjuring. The first Annabelle was complete crap and none of my friends even bothered with the 2nd one because of it (and yes I've heard we should definitely give it a shot now) but I'm just more annoyed by the fact that in the first Conjuring movie they bring up how "Annabelle was their most terrifying case, blah blah blah" or whatever...they briefly mention it in the first Annabelle movie as well teasing us even more only to never tell that story.
I don't even care if the Warren's case directly involving them with Annabelle is good at this point, I just want what was teased back in 2013.

So I guess this isn't ¨based¨ on a true story like the two Conjuring movies. Annabelle was a prequel to the Conjuring, Annabelle 2 was a prequel to a prequel (and actually was quite better than the first prequel), how far can they go with this one?

This being said I'll purchased it for sure as Annabelle Creation was pretty good.

McKenna Grace has now been cast as Judy Warren in the movie. Bizarre since they stated this will take place after the first scene in the Conjuring but before Perron case and before the Conjuring 2. So they cast an actress who is easily 5-6 years older than Judy was in the first movie even though this is supposed to be taking place before the first movie and after they bring Annabelle home.
It’s like they aren’t even bothering to be consistent with the continuity even though they are all about making this one big shared universe.
