Plot: A young girl grows up to become a strong and fearless woman in Budapest before World War I.

The film will be shown in Venice and Toronto.

Don't blame the guy for going in a different direction after Son of Saul, interested in this although the teaser and the synopsis don't give a lot away.

Well, it LOOKS beautiful, not surprisingly. And as Foggy said, it seems intense.

I think I'm going to avoid the reviews for a while at least. I don't often feel this way, but I'd rather go in with as little info as possible with this one (which, of course, I possibly already denied myself by watching the trailer. Oh well. I don't think it gave much away.)

Nope but got a trailer for it like a week ago at my local arthouse theater in front of Shoplifters, I think the release date here is March 22nd.

I wouldn't call her character strong. Fearless, to an extent, but not strong.

The movie is good, but it's a major step down from "Son of Saul".

I really hope Criterion or Kino gets this. Might not be as good as Son of Saul but thats a big film to follow.

I don't often feel this way, but I'd rather go in with as little info as possible with this one (which, of course, I possibly already denied myself by watching the trailer. Oh well.
