Default CES 2008: JVC XV-BD1, SD Card, DLNA, Profile 1.1

http://formatwarcent...-ray-player-release/

Quote:
While details are scarce, JVC are planning to release a Final Standard Profile BD player, the XV-BD1, in Fall 2008. The feature set includes not only the now expected 24p at 1080 and HDMI 1.3 connectivity, but goes beyond with DLNA connectivity and an SD slot for still image and video playback from JVC camcorders.

It was clear that it is ‘early days’ for this unit and there is no pricing estimate, but considering the features like DLNA, I would expect this to not be an ‘entry level’ player.

Excellent. I was wondering when they would get into the game.
