I'd assume it's part of a wave, as they did a bunch of faceplate covers with this style of artwork last year

Those faceplates were fugly last year, and if they are doing steelbooks of them, they'll be fuglier still...

As artwork for the movies, I didn't think most of them worked. But as a piece of art in general, I appreciate the style and tone they we're aiming for.

Same here for Joy Ride. I preordered Killer Klowns & ROTLD because they don’t look as bad as the rest, and steels for them are pretty expensive.
