That pretty much guarantees that this will never come out on 3D Blu-ray, just like Ferdinand and Trolls.

Not necessarily at all by the time this movie comes to theaters Disney will own fox most likely. Therefore it will be up to Disney to decide if the movie gets a 3d bluray. Generally Disney releases all their movies by all branches of their company somewhere in the world on bluray 3d so if this movies make more than Pete’s dragon and a wrinkle in time it may get a 3d bluray.

Fingers crossed that Disney will release a 3D blu-ray of this and any other future Blue Sky / Fox 3D animations. In any case, the trailers I've seen in 2D so far are really making me look forward to seeing this in theatrical 3D.

Plot;
The world is counting on the highly famous super spy Lance Sterling to protect it from grave threats, who in turn often counts on the technical smarts of young scientist Walter Beckett to fashion great gadgets to accomplish his missions in spite of himself. However, when Beckett attempts to introduce his newest invention of "biodynamic concealment", Sterling accidentally ingests Beckett's experimental work and transforms into a pigeon. Probably playing in so little 3d theatres due to Star Wars the rise of Skywalker 3d and jumanji the next level 3d hogging up most available 3d screens

Lucky for me my area has at least one theatre playing it in 3d three times a day!

Are you (or a superior) in a position to ask the distributor (Disney?) for this kind of thing? I'm surprised they haven't even provided you with the 3D option...

My difficulty in this area is finding animations like this shown in 3D and in subtitled English (as opposed to dubbed French). The cinema programmers who do decide to show this kind of thing in 3D in this region (there are a few luckily) mostly choose to show it only dubbed (as kids are unlikely to appreciate subtitled 3D).

I'm 95% certain this won't be on 3D blu-ray, given that France only has a standard 2D announced, so I'll be driving 50min to see this in English 3D in Geneva (and I'll pair it on the same day with Rise of Skywalker IMAX 3D since that's only shown in that place too).

I don’t have the authority that’s the booking company and the owner of the theater that can negotiate ($$) to my experience when this happens the price tag for the 3D print was not included with 2D as a package.

I saw on 12/25 Only showing in 3d in my area at 4:20 pm all week

An overall funny movie.
Kids will love it and there are of course a few adult jokes included.

No 3D Blu-ray worldwide so far

Fox is now a Disney company, and Disney was very "3D friendly" in 2019. But the fox does what he wants

Thought I might catch this in 3D on Sunday -- until I checked my local AMC. They're only showing it in 3D at 8:45AM and 9:15PM.

And then they wonder why hardly anyone sees things in 3D anymore....

Saw this and Jumanji yesterday. 3D was good in both. Seeing Star Wars today. That's my 3 movies for the week with AMC monthly plan.
