The harbinger here is that it already lists Blu-ray/DVD in the title so presumably, we're not getting a 4K flavor of this steelbook in the US. It would be another story if it just said Blu-ray, then there would be hope that it's actually a 4K release.

Waiting for 4K confirmation. I tend to double dip on Spider-Man stuff but I'd prefer not to have to.

i wasnt sure if i wanted to see this movie when i seen the trailer during The Last Jedi. i just thought with all the Spider-Man stuff we get i thought an animated movie wasnt interesting. i watch the live action films but i never care to watch the animated ones. reviews have been so good i wouldnt mind checking it out now but dont think it'll live up to the hype to me though.

Well, it really should be a 3D release, as that's how the film is meant to be viewed as per the directors, if one is to believe Wikipedia.

Apparently the 3D is weak in this. The 2D is pretty incredible. One of the most visually stunning films I've ever seen, and just one of the best movies of the year.
