They might find it difficut to obtain press passes next year.

It is a privelige, not a right, to attend CES. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah, that was definitely pretty unprofessional. I believe they're currently being sued by CES and some CE companies as well for this particular prank. I hope it was worth it to them.

Okay, That was funny until I put myself in the shoes of the presenters. They're doing the best job the can and some idiot with the mind of a 12 year old starts playing with the displays.

Suddenly it wasn't funny anymore. You'd think the joke would have worn thin after the first couple of times, but no. They just push it WAY too far.

Idiots. They've been BANNED! Ha ha. Morons.

Imagine you've carefully prepared a presentation, hoping to get some positive press to attract customers to your product, and these idiots shut it down.

What's so funny about that? I hope they get banned from future event.. Idiots should not be allowed on the same floor at CES.

They should ban the entire organization this year and the next as punishment.

How can adults behave that way? This just proves that not everyone with a website posting news is a journalist.

I haven't watched the video, but companies pay a lot of money to go to CES and present their products. And the tradeshows rely on that money from companies. If Gizmodo doesn't want to get banned from other tradeshows (like CEDIA) they will probably have to take action against that person.

It won't surprise me if there are now copycats, which Gizmodo is basically encouraging by putting that on their site, whether they think they are or not. Since they rely on traffic, they are basically profiting from showing that. If they continue to leave it up there and profit from it, then I guess I won't feel bad if a hacker disrupts their business by taking their site down. You know, as a joke. But then, hopefully the owner(s) wouldn't condone what they did or putting it on the site to generate traffic, and will remove it.

that's really childish. They should be sued for that. It takes alot of energy for those vendors to make sure that everything's right in conferences like that, and for Gizmodo just to come in there and pull something like that just for the fun of it, is really irresponsible and idiotic.

I really hope they get sued

I laughed till i saw the poor faces on the tech guys trying to figure out why the tvs turned off lol. Specially sad though that they do it during the middle of a presentation.

How stupid do you have to be to post that video on the Internet after the fact?? it's like robbing a store and calling the police to brag about it.

Only the putz who was doing it was banned.

Gawker Media has been sanctioned, which I imagine means they're going to have limited presence next year.

I agree that was very unprofessional, wasn't even that funny.
There's a reason why CES isn't open to everyone.

That was truly unprofessional on their part. They should be ashamed of themselves for acting so immaturely.
