Not a huge Bond fan in general, but I think this the best out of the Daniel Craig movies so far.

That's definitely going to be an unpopular opinion among many Bond fans lol. I don't know why but I just really enjoyed this one. More so than Skyfall and Spectre. Not as much as Casino Royale though.

I doubt they can resist the will of the rights holders when it comes to Bond and home video. What I mean is, I wouldn't take this as a sign of MGM's stance changing on the macro level.

True enough. I'll probably pick this one up and Casino Royale, but I would much rather get the classic Bonds (uncut) with PROPER 4k restorations this time. NOT Lowry's screw ups.

Amen. They should release a 'Sam Mendes collection' separately so it can be tossed into the darkest corner of the warehouse stocking it. I bet even Barbara Broccoli doesn't own 'Skyfall' and 'Spectre' and just streams it every now and then to lament the hacks she employed in the past.

I'm not a hipster for preferring one film over another.

Only if the studio with the title in question is big on catalog 4k releases.

Smaller labels getting MGM licensing agreements may be out of the 4k game for some time.

Kino shot themselves in the foot choosing Hannibal as their test title. Of course it wasn't going to sell well.

The decision to not make this one well over two hours has definitely improved its replay value.

If the shaky cam/editing were improved it would be near perfect.

This was only under 2 hours because of the writers strike.

Correct. And it was better for it.

Better editing and it would have been an all timer.
