And so the FUD continues. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the reason people bought into HD media (and Blu-ray in particular obviously) was to watch films in hi-def, not because you can ( or can not) get fancy new features. Personally I don't care about the PIP stuff or BD-Live when that happens. I've never listened to a director's commentary on any of my DVD's so can't see me bothering with PIP. And am really not interested in downloading a ringtone or ordering the latest film related merchandise. So for me as long as the film still plays profile 1.0 players are just fine. |
