Default Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 52" 1080p LCD HDTV or Samsung LNT5265F 52" 1080p LCD HDTV

I need help!!! I'm planning to buy a new TV but can't decide between the Samsung LNT5265F 52" 1080p LCD HDTV or the Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 52" 1080p LCD HDTV. My buget is $2400 and the Sony is $2399 while the Samsung is $2199. Can anybody tell me which one is a better TV to get? Thank you and I would appreciated for any of your suggestion!

I have the Sony KDL-52W3000. Beautiful picture, mind blowing blu-ray experience. No regrets in my house. (Except that it's $500 cheaper now than when I bought it last october for $3000!) Best set I've ever owned. Oh yeah, and I'm really glad we got the 52" instead of the 46", the bigger the better.

I have the 52W300 as well. I can vouch for the picture quality. It's a pretty sweet TV. They are both nice sets. I guess it comes down to a personal preference.

They are probably pretty closed in quality, i say go to a store and look at both see which one you like best and get that one. I am bias towards Sony, but hey is your TV. Good luck.

I'd go with the Sony, I personally like the XBR4's more, due to the fact they do true 24p with out pulldown...but I also am biased towards sony.

I read a lot of customer's reviews on Amazon on both the Sony and Samsung. It seem like a lot of people have problems with the Samsung than the Sony. So I guess I'll be getting the Sony. Thanks everybody for your help!

I have the Sony 52" and would recommend it over most LCDs only thing that comes close is the XBR models.

According to the specs at sony.ca it does true 24p but who knows for sure.
