Default When ordering from Amazon

Is UPS just going to leave my package on my doorstep or is a signature required? I got 7 BDs coming in on the 26th and I may not be home since its a saturday. Does UPS even deliver on Saturdays?

UPS does not require a signature in this case. They will leave your package at your door. In the event that they should ever require one, they will leave you a notification slip indicating that they had attempted to deliver to you and will retry. There is a spot you can also sign stating that it is alright to leave the package at the door.

UPS does not deliver or pick up packages on the weekends.

It depends on your area. My UPS guy told me that he can't leave some packages at my door without a signature because my area has a signature required because there was a high number of incidents with packages being stolen. There are about 3 or 4 different driverss though and one of them does leave them at the door...which I'm happy for sometimes, but I was gone for 2 days and my poor little package sat out in the rain.

UPS does deliver on weekends if you pay for it. Amazon does not offer this though so no Amazon packages will arrive on Saturday.

I know UPS leaves packages at our door all the time. Never requires a signature. Unless the sender SPECIFIES a signature is REQUIRED! So far no issues.

Is there a special delivery? Like put it in the backyard, opened window, or beware of guard dog .

No signature required for orders from amazon.com. They'll just leave it outside your door so hopefully it doesn't rain that day. I live in an apt. complex and ups has a key to the main door so they bring it inside the building and leave it in front of my door.

Our UPS guys puts everything in clear bags if it's raining or chance of rain. Might be different elsewhere though.

Sometimes my UPS guy will leave packages wherever. 1) It was delivered to my door 2) Left buy the mailboxes in the Apt Building 3) Left outside.

Then one time they wouldn't deliver because it required a signature, so the next day it was delivered, without me signing for it

My UPS guy sticks my packages under my doormat, which is OK, if it's small, but if the package is 10" tall, it looks rather odd.

My UPS guy has the code to my garage door, so he leaves them in there for me...... then again, I have a good relationship with the UPS guy I guess.
