Is this one any good, or is it a Piranha situation? I've seen the first once and quite liked it. I guess I didn't even know there was a sequel.

Isn't this rated PG-13? I remember seeing it once on VHS probably 25 years ago or so. I didn't like it much, but I recall it not being the worst thing ever.

Been dying to watch this and I waited for years to watch it just in case it came out on blu ray. I caved on 3 months ago and watched it on vhs, darn!
It:s definitely not as good as the first one but it's still a lot of fun and one of the better croc movies (well, Alligator).
That theatrical poster is incredible. Both movies have two of the best horror posters of all time, imo.

OK, so Lionsgate lost the rights to the original (good riddance), so who did Shout license the sequel from?

I know I've seen this, but I don't remember anything about it.

But with the awesome original movie also coming (on UHD), this is a definite preorder for me!

Very underrated, no masterpiece by any means of course but not nearly as bad as some say.

Ok, I think I definitely remember catching this on cable back in the late 90's. I was a kid and remember liking it.

Yeah.
Just looked at my UK dvd of both movies, and both are rated 15. Yet in the US, 1 was R and 2 was PG-13.

I'll wait for this to go on sale, but will probably pre-order the first. The first is all-out awesome, I can't recall much about 2 except it not coming close to living up to 1.

Great news to see though.
