This looks like cheesy fun. Feels a little like a TV movie judging by the trailer.

I saw this on VHS back in 1987 and remember absolutely nothing about it. Now that I will have the blu-ray it will give me an excuse to revisit.

I watched a piece of this on Tubi (from a tape master) a month or two ago, was pretty enjoyable. Definitely thought at the time, "I wonder if VS or someone in their orbit will get around to this."

Funny, had this been made during the 90's I probably would've passed. Being an 80's flick, it's an instant purchase

Looks like it will have minimal plot but be a good time. I'm excited most for this one from the set of announcements.

Looks like the writer and director don't have a clue between the difference of a robot, a cyborg, and a mutant. They're not interchangeable. I'll pass.

Would you expect any differently from the guy that gave us Robot Holocaust?

If those are details that matter to you in a skid row DTV movie, then yeah, you should pass. This isn't a particularly good movie, but it is an entertainingly chintzy one.

With Elizabeth Purchell involved with this release, hopefully this will mean more of Empire's Tim Kincaid & David DeCoteau titles will get the Vinegar Syndrome treatment. The version of DeCoteau's Dreamaniac on Tubi is almost unwatchably blurry. The Tubi copy of Necropolis (produced by Kincaid) is almost as bad.

I recently wrote to VS suggesting an album release of the library music that makes up Mutant Hunt's score (tracks which also feature in Dreamaniac and Breeders). There is some amazing eighties synth and electric guitar in those tracks!

According to this list, it does say Full Moon has distribution rights to it. (FTR, I had to find an archived version of this list from 2018, the current list at Full Moon Direct doesn't mark which ones they have the distribution rights for)

Can't you see that the back of the slipcover says MGM?

Tiny print, difficult to see unless you're looking for it.
