Jean-Claude Van Damme to Lead Neo-Noir L.A. Action Film ‘Darkness of Man’ (Exclusive)
From writer/director James Cullen Bressack and being introduced at the American Film Market by VMI Worldwide, the film will see the 'Kickboxer' and 'Universal Soldier' icon play an Interpol operative who must protect the son of a murdered informant from a group of merciless gangs.

Thanks. Interesting to hear Van Damme is still acting in films after all these years. The Van Damme spoof TV series a few years back had a funny pilot episode, I think it was on amazon .com, free to watch back then. I was hoping it became a series, but didn't hear anything after that, as it was competing with The Tick TV new series for the most votes to produce.

Action film, so he'll hopefully pull of some stunts and kicks here and there.

Death Warrant, Hard Target, and a few other classics he made.

Glad he's still getting roles, recently rewatched Kickboxer. For as 80s action stars liked him best.

I mean, I guess I’m happy for him but his movies always had a "kind of bad in a good way". All the kung fu films were the same, really.

He’s probably in need of a paycheck at this point.

I'm always down for a new JCVD film. This looks like it actually had a semi-decent budget. The director's previous credits are not very promising, but I liked the trailer. Looking forward to this.
