Reaching out to Artist about Blu.

Here's a message I sent to Billy Howerdel, Founder and Lead Guitarist of A Perfect Circle, and founder of current project Ashes Divide. He has a Ashes Divide myspace and responded to one of my questions on a different topic. Let's see if he responds to this.

"You might not want to reflect on past projects, ya know with the new album so very near, but a smart and exciting thought crossed my mind this week.

Blu-Ray Dvd's, the new Hi-def format is just amazing. I think that your past project would be extremely well served by throwing out a APC Blu-ray concert.

Currently there are so few artists that have produced concerts in this format, AC/DC, Incubus, NIN, Black Crowes, David Gilmour, and a few other that are not worth mentioning.

You could add extras to it also, like Video's, live apperences(Conan, Leno), and new Ashes Divide material!!!!

Just a thought, i'm a huge Blu-ray fan and would love to see more artists contribute to this format. If you havent had time to see it....make a little time and be ready to be blown away.

I like his music alot more than a casual fan, so any hope of this becoming a reality is a very happy thought. Has anyone else reached out to other artists to see if there's anything in the works?????

I've written to the filmmakers encouraging that they put "When the Road Bends" to Blu-ray (a documentary of the Gypsy Caravan tour with special guest Johnny Depp. They have written back "No word yet on the format".
