Just Bought Arthur Christmas 3D but turns out it's an American version code

When I went to the Sony Canada code redemption site it said that the code was not for my region. The code is still valid as it is recognized fine if I switch the site to American and check the code, but the code is only for Movies Anywhere and we don't have that in Canada. I usually redeem all my movie codes on either Apple Or Google, but this code does not give that option unless its a Canadian Code.

I wonder if there is anyway to trade the code for a Canadian Version? This is the only American Movie version I have ever had in my collection so far.

It's no big deal really as the digital version is currently on Netflix anyway, but eventually they leave the streaming services. I know I can buy the digital version stand alone for $7.99 CDN on any online store, but it should have been part of this combo I purchased. I bought it from The Beat Goes On. I assumed they only sold Canadian or North American valid movies. This is the first time I have experienced this.

I really only bought it for the 3D movie version anyway, but still, just one of those things that bugs me, I guess.

Any thoughts?

If you can create a MoviesAnywhere account, you can redeem the same code there and it will show up on your Google account.
