Is Lo Wai Lo Wei's brother?
![]() From what I read about this movie, Jackie's not really in it and it's meant to be rubbish, but part of me wants to check it out to see if it's so bad ![]() |

Hope this comes with a booklet or something, could do with some decent extras to counteract the fact it is barely a Chan movie.
Glad to see it getting a release but probably should have been included as an extra on the first movie. |

Having just watched the Criterion version, I think there is enough interesting scenes of Jackie to make this a worthwhile watch for hardcore fans. But I think the main value of having this on physical media would be if someone could tell the story of its making, as well as breakdown where each scene with Jackie came from.
Frank Djeng is definitely the right man for the job, so his commentary here could be quite valuable. |

I like Frank Djeng commentary's but not even his commentary makes me want to get the film and its not a Jackie Chan film its half of one and half of another and you can tell when its not him cause the one who plays the Jackie Chan character looks nothing like him' so this would be the first film by 88films with sort of Jackie in that I'm not getting.

I was kind of okay with using a non-lookalike to tie in some deleted scenes. But the biggest sin for me is that the ending is [Show spoiler]

Never seen this movie, heard poor reviews but never really knew why till I found out yesterday its almost a Game of Death result but with less recovered footage. Slightly interested since I liked 'Half a Loaf' but I'm not a fan of recycled material

^ Game of Death at least had some iconic footage worth showing. If suffering through 75% of the movie meant getting to see it then so be it.
Fearless Hyena II has nothing that special. And unlike Game of Death, which ends with its best stuff. FHII starts with its highlights then continually becomes less worthwhile. It really only works as a curiosity for the hardcores, or as a supplement to part 1. |
