This is coming from Scream Factory. Their Standard 4K will be out a month earlier on September 10th. This Steelbook is a Walmart exclusive, but since those tend to just be timed releases, I won't be putting it in the title.

yeah I wondering if it would drop or not being a Shout factory release. don't like the price but willing to pay it since its one of my favorites.

Their steelbooks tend to drop to the mid to low 30's from what I've seen. Usually around $33 or so.

If the price drops prior to release, does Walmart charge you the lower price like Amazon does?

They do not. The price you pre-order at is the price you pay regardless. Super lame.

yup I held off on preordering due to them not automatically adjusting the price when it drops and now it shows sold out. I am sure it will be back at some point but still annoying.

question though - will Shout offer this on their own site as well?

I'm glad Shout is letting us know a SteelBook is coming (and the fact that it's coming only a month after the standard release). That way, this time, I won't have to turn around and sell my "Collector's Edition" with the slip six months after purchasing it, like I've had to do a few (too many) times in the not-so-distant past. A low bar, to be sure, but I'm pleased with this improvement.
