8 different versions - how is that possible?
In the Warner master, an iconic scene was zoomed in heavily because equipment could be seen in the image. Eight different versions were placed on the discs using seamless branching. Seamless branching is a process that allows multiple cuts of a film to be placed on a DVD or Blu-ray disc to save space. Not all versions are on the disc in their entirety, but rather the main part common to all of these versions and the scenes that differ from each other. During playback, the playback device switches without interruption within these "branched" data paths and merges them "seamlessly" into the selected cut version.

I wonder if the unrated scenes will be inserts from another source? I know Germany does have an unrated HD master they stream, I think the one I seen was from Amazon.

Apparently not, what's from another source is the "unzoomed" shot of Dolph jumping-kicking above the car. But you'll be able to choose between this one and the zoomed one which will be from the same master as the rest of the film.

I'm gunna' go for the unrated alternate HD version initially I reckon.

Been a long time since I've seen this one so looking forward to watching it, hopefully the lack of English subtitles doesn't affect anything when choosing the English language option (eg. Chinese text not being translated - thinking it's probably not an issue with this film though).

I don't think they would admit it even if you contacted them via e-mail or social media. I recall others have had the same experience.
