Newbie Here. - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys. I've been here reading the site for the last month and half. First time actually posting. Jumped on the blu bandwagon during christmas time when I bought a 40gb PS3 for the fam. Have about 20 blu rays now and looking to get alot more.

I play COD4 when my wife lets me. Feel free to add: thunda123

Definitely made the right choice. However, my wife and some friends might beg to differ. They say I'm on here reading all the time, its all I talk about, and its all I want to spend our money on. I guess you can call it an addiction already.

They sound like some of my friends. They say I spent to much money and that the picture being better is all in my mind. Since I read and hear about it.

I actually do have Uncharted. I love it. Haven't played it too much though because I'm hooked on COD4. Have heard good things about Warhawk but don't know much about it.

Fav blu ray so far is probably Live free or die hard or Ratatouille. Very impressed with both PQ and AQ were great. Only have the Bose cinemate speakers (I know, I know--you can kick me in the jimmy now) so the sound is obviously lacking from what it could be. I'm looking into receivers, speakers.

I hear you man. I remember when I got Shenmue 2 and GTA: Vice City at the same time. Played a little of both, but then I got hooked on Shenmue and never looked back. Couldn't get into Vice City after that.

It is an addiction. I picked up my PS3 on Jan 6th, and have 29 Blu titles now. It'll just get worse too, because I'm sure we'll see LOTS more releases now.
