Like I said in the Umbrella thread, I'm tempted to get this, even though a UHD would be preferable! Big JD fan. It'd be nice to know if the accompanying Grant Gee documentary is in HD or not. I'm leaning towards no (especially as it's sharing a disc with the film itself), but some clarity would be appreciated. It's a brilliant watch.

Wow, people demanding a 4k for a reasonable small arthouse, Anton Corbijn film? FFS people, not every film gets a 4k release, ok? People here expect every film ever released, to get a superduper deluxe 4k release, with art cards and posters and other kinds of shit.

I don't know about demand but it'd be nice. It's shot on 35 mm, Corbijn has a great eye, it'd be a prime candidate. It's not like, say, 24 Hour Party People where it'd be overkill at best.

I do plan on picking this up soon. I put off watching the film for years, but it does the Requiem for a Dream trick of starting out very invitingly - in this case, witty and surprisingly funny - before easing the viewer into darker waters. Still a hard watch given the subject matter, but it's handled beautifully.
