SteelBooks are a bit of a mug's game. Usually released to pre-order at midnight the day the film launches and then sold out before anyone has had a chance to actually see the film (I appreciate this one has been out everywhere other than the UK for about a week at this point).

Not to worry though, with this being Universal, there will almost certainly be a Collectors' Edition that's the superior release 6-24 months down the line (See: The Northman, Last Night in Soho, Oppenheimer, etc)

Same with the Panic Room steel. Feel like you have to be chronically online to get in on these.

With Nosferatu, Universal are releasing same date the same discs in a plastic case general release for £10 less, so you have a choice.

Panic Room is slightly different as Sony (in the US at least) are only doing this type of release in steelbooks to keep prices high. As with all their Dolby Vision reissues updating HDR10 versions. Okay may appear in general release later but no guarantees.

You have the same with Disney and their Disney+ steelbooks of Marvel and Star Wars TV shows, these seem to be sticking to premium priced steelbooks only and no cheaper general release in plastic cases.

Any reason to believe this won't have a US release? I'm leaning toward seeing if Amazon UK opens up for ordering closer to release date if it won't get a US release.
