I heard this was scheduled for a super deluxe release and I was excited. Then I heard that it will be 16 CDs and two blu-rays. No thank you. This album was overlong as it was. I don't need a dozen more hours of it. I hope they release a standalone blu-ray someday. And I hope they release a music only version. Too much narration.

I'd buy the blu rays if they were available but I'm quite happy with the 7 disc Collectors Edition from 2005. I still like the SACDs from that set. If £250 (£329 on Amazon) isn't expensive enough there's an Ultimate Collector's Edition at £375 that adds 4 discs of vinyl and a signature.

I'm quite happy with the multi-channel SACD as well and would see no reason to upgrade.

Pricey! I have the 7 disc deluxe set from a few years back, and both the ulladubulla releases, not sure i need any of the modern interpretations

No need for 18 discs, some of them are well under 50 minutes, many of the outtakes are under 20 seconds. Complete & total overkill.
