A lot of memes originate through movies, but how do we know when they are unintentional or not? I think studios (and politics, but lets not go down that hole) know by that memes get attention and is a great marketing tool. But I do wonder how much they abuse it nowadays. Cause it has now gone to a point where some memes feel planned all along. Making the whole thing feel disingenuous now.

Context of creational origin, for the most part. Sometimes a thing is created to get popular, however that goes in more about presentation of how they may want it to get its attention.

Or it just happens in its own context via its presentation and it just goes popular.

The internet changes this a lot and how fast it gets known but it's not different than a phrase that slowly gets popular. Slang. Gestures. Etc.

So don't post memes. It's gotten out of hand around here and you're one of the main culprits. Is it really that hard to just tell us what YOU think instead of using somebody else's pictures and words?
