"Bionic Woman" Cancelled - Blu-ray Forum

It's hard to exactly pinpoint where it all went south for this redux... okay, no it's not. Still, I'm surprised there hasn't been an official announcement from NBC yet.

I belive the writers strike officially stuck the dagger in this one. When talks were winding up, they released an official cancel list I believe.

Heard that BW was one of the ones canceled. I never saw one episode, the girl was simply not hot enough to get me to watch the remake of a 1970/80 classic.

I'd say it's right around the end of the first episode where they decided the best course of action as is typical with David Eick, is to have a catfight with Starbabe

Unfortunately, I watched a couple episodes of this foolishness. This is a fate well deserved.

In the show she's underage but in real life she is 18+ plus so don't feel bad about drooling.
didn't have the same feel of the original bionic woman show though.

Well, of course not as this is the 00s where as the original was from and set in a whole different era and point in time/culture. That definitely was not one of its many, many problems.

The season set is for sale on Amazon and it does not say The Complete Series (like Surface and Invasion did), it says only Volume One:

I wonder if the door has been left open for a return.

Frankly, I liked the show, it seemed to be heading somewhere and it was getting better by the week.

The DVD was manufactured before the fate of the series was known so they may very well pull it for a later date so they can edit the packaging.

Yes the writers strike caused the cancellation! IMO it wasn't a bad show conceptually the bionic designs and new origin story were good. I"am kind of disappointed

with this but I will get over it! Well I still have the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I would be surprised if Fox cancelled Sarah Connor Chronicles, but I think the writer's strike shafted this show too. They weren't able to get a full season in. I think the finale is March 3rd.

I really thought this was gonna be better than it ended up being

Now one that I thought was gonna be crap and ended up being pretty good was Life, I hope we get that one back

That one is coming back. It was actually announced as returning in the Fall when the writers' strike ended.

Show was garbage, gave it too many chances but it was all over the place. It really deserved to be cancelled

I think Sarah Connor will get lucky this time. It is starting to pick up some steam.
