Question Do I need Vista? or new Graphics card?

If I wanted to play a Blu-Ray film on my PC, does anyone know if
I'd need to "upgrade" to Vista, buy a new graphics card or
should I be able to play them as the system is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards
