Default Blu-ray Disc Temperature

when i play DVDs, they seem quite warm when you take them out of the player,.. so i normally leave them to cool down a bit before i put them away.

it seems the complete opposite with blu-ray,.. i watched Crank last night, plus all the extras, etc.

i took it out of my PS3 and it was still room temperature...

how is this then?.. does it not spin as fast as DVD media?

... has the PS3 got a better cooling system than my DVD player?
