My Target has Folklore for 14.97 75% off.......

my question is........is it ever worth that for it.......
i have heard very little about it?

I rented it... but I'd definitely but it for that price. It is a fun game. I'm going to check my Target tomorrow.

Yeah, it's a good game. I'm still playing it (got it for Christmas). Definitely worth it, and it has downloadable content as well. If you can, play it with a dual shock 3-- it's fun when you rip souls out and you can feel it...

I was at Target and saw it for $30 with the red clearance tag, is there an additional discount on clearance items? if thats the case ill go pick one up tomorrow.

I have the game and it all depends if you like the action / adventure genre. It got generally positive reviews with IGN giving it a 9.0 being the highlight.

Good points include wonderful set designs and quirky art direction along with an intriguing storyline. Graphics and music ain't bad either.

However like all games there are some downers. The combat mechanics while enjoyable - certainly isn't DMC4... hell it ain't even Heavenly Blade. Level design is quite static and gameplay can get repetitive since the two characters essentially need to go through the same levels individually.

I'd recommend the the game especially at that price. But then again I'm rather biased towards Japanese rpgs (even though Folklore is largely an adventure game with light rpg elements).

I'd buy just about any PS3 game for $15.

I was just on Ebay trying to get this game cheap, but people were paying like $30+ for it.

Looks like the deal is store based. Adding Target to my to-do list today.

I think you mean Heavenly Sword...

Not to mention, Heavenly Sword had MUCH better combat then DMC4 in my opinion.
Incredibly better graphics and audio as well...

What is the deal with Target anyways?
A lot of times I have gotten new released games, like 2 weeks old Dark Messiah for example for $10! It was still 39.99 everywhere else

Man they rock. I used to work there for 2 years but no one could tell me the answer they just follow corporates orders and mark things down for no reason.

I recommend teenagers to work there over fastfood joints, its a decent job...
although i wouldn't work there again at 28 years old lol.

Now I gotta go hop to it!

btw, none of these deals are online. You guys should check the clearance racks every time. Perfectly good stuff in the food isles and electronics racks are usually 50% or more off.

Yeah, sounds like a fun game. I do all my shopping at Target, including food--it's right down the street. Bought my PS3 there, too. I noticed Folklore was marked down, but not down to $15.

Hope one is left there for me.
