The format will sell itself if you have a good set up that shows the PQ adavantage and the sound and you bring friends home and show them a couple of great discs as teasers and then watch a great movie. They'll have a good impression and when they see normal definition again they'll remember the difference and if it's important to them, they'll become High Definition enthusiasts. Remember that many people think High Definition is a small difference before they truly experience it in a great set up. They thought the same about DVD, when they had VHS, and had never seen a digital 16:9 coded 480i movie upconverted to 480p on a Panasonic Plasma, LCD, DLP ...

Now they can go from watching movies in upconverted 60Hz 480i x 720 pixel 480 kb/s DD to direct 24fps 1080p x 1920 pixel uncompressed LPCM (or lossless Dolby or DTS) multichannel sound.
