Disney Brings 'Reign of Fire,' 'Ladder 49' to Blu-ray in February

"Both of the action-oriented, special effects-laden dramas will be the latest Disney catalog titles to hit the next-gen format on February 13, 2007.

No specs yet, though we expect the usual 1080p transfers and uncompressed PCM surround tracks, and at least a few extras."

I was wondering when ladder 49 was going to be announced, I betch you that has GORGEOUS visuals ( crossing fingers hoping they use VC-1)

Disney is really doing some great things.
I don't think it's a stretch at all to expect some Pixar releases in early 2007.

Disney sure made the right choice when it comes to formats.

Prestige and Ladder 49 for me! Reign of Fire will probably be picked up later on in the year.

We'll probably see some Pixar releases heading our way by the time 'Ratatouille' released in June. Probably not all of them at once though.

Now... imagine... 'Cars' and 'Finding Nemo'... betcha it'll be something.
