I enjoyed it. Simon Pegg is great and his best friend in the movie is a crackup. I heard a reviewer call the actor who plays the best friend a british Bill Murray...I can see why he thought that. Not a bad start for David Schwimmer as a director.

I "sneak peeked" this last weekend, and loved it. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Good stuff -- I was hoping it was region free, but alas, now I must wait...

I really enjoyed this movie. It has a bunch of very funny scenes in it and was quite refreshing although, the same storyline that has been done a million times already... then again how many original films are actually out there?

Just read an interview with Simon Pegg the other day on Suicide Girls, and he mentioned that him, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright would be working on a third movie together, now here is something I cannot wait to see!!

I just saw the box office totals for this weekend and this movie wasn't even in the top 12. I can't believe it, people don't know what they are missing. To be lower then Drillbit Taylor, College Road Trip, and Never Back down???? Time to do the whole "word of mouth" thing.

Just saw it today too. It's entirely too stale and predictable at times, but Pegg and the rest of the cast are great. Overall, I enjoyed it, but won't be picking it up on DVD or anything.

That's pretty sad! Most of the other movies out right now seem to be %@&#(@!
But that's how it works most of the time if there is a foreign movie being released in the US. The demand doesn't seem that hight, at least if it's not some big budget production or has some big big names behind it.
C'mon people go watch this!!! I promise you won't even have to read subtitles!!

That sucks that it did so poorly (probably the same mooks that refused to go see 'Grindhouse' )

Quicker to BD; guess I'll have to hope for that.

I had to review this for the paper I write for.

I gave it an A +

by far one of the best movies out there right now.. its a shame it tanked at the box office.

And yes, i agree, a nick frost cameo would have been wonderful.

Hank Azaria in the gym scene was a freaking riot. WIth the powder and crap? Omg i nearly choked on my pop from laughing so hard.

The fight scene was great. When you have about 10 people in a huge theater and everyone is laughing out loud, that's a good movie to me.

I guess this movie is doing well in England and the rest of Europe (where its been released) so maybe after some word of mouth and people reading the positive press (3 articles on three different news web pages yesterday) it will pick up this next week.

It was a limited release though. It played in a bout a third of normal theatrical releases. Even so it still underperformed a bit. If you triple its total it would have made around the 7 mil mark, which of course is still sub par.

Actually it wasnt in limited release. Limited means its playing at fewer than around 800 theaters.. this was playing in well over 1000, and also in every major state.

The movie didnt have the backing the other two did, and thus will likely rake in less than 5 million during its theatrical run.

Which is a shame.
