Default PS3 Bookmarking feature?

How do you make it work? I've tried it out before with several different movies, but every time I put the movie back in it starts at the beginning.

I got a question as well, is there an easier way to delete the address bar instead of pressing square?

On some discs, it will not work, no matter what you do, the POTC trilogy is an example, however on most discs, just make sure and press stop on the remote or on the on screen menu that you pull up on the screen with the triangle button. (remember you must press stop before ejecting the disc. or turning off the system.)

Thanks, I didn't realize that it didn't work with all movies. It's not that big of a deal, but I was just interested in seeing how it works.

no problem, I hope that in a future firmware update, they address this problem. It took me a little while to figure out how to use this feature.

Have you tried holding backspace on the keyboard, or instead of pressing square hold down square?

Yup, I usually hold the square button. I was hoping there would be another way to delete it.

Sorry ill look for alternative methods when I get home, im land locked at work and im going to have to go see the feds / FAA this afternoon.. why am I going to that meeting with the rest of the employees...

As long as the word form is not mentioned im just going to shut and say nothing, I found disagreeing with there assessments is dangerous because
they are fanboys, who never listen...

its a pain in the ass, but I don't believe there is anyway to clear the address bar automatically, without pressing the square key to delete what is already there, this is one issue I have with the web browser.
