I beginning to hate FOX and BVHE for not providing normal English subtitles in addition to SDH. The U.K/ E.U releases however have 2 English subtitles.

I tried email to Starz / Anchor Bay and they didn't answer my email!

Warner used to have regular subs, but in 2008 with the release of I am Legend, they switched to just carrying SDH subs, which I hate!
I usually watch movies subbed because I can't crank up the volume to obscene levels because of neighbors and even with high volume it can sometimes be hard to discern what people are saying because of dialect, mixing or other factors, and I hate when surrounding sounds are subbed as well. Movies should always give you a choice to have regular English subs AND SDH, not just one or the other...

Across the universe should have subs.

Trainspotting first release didn't have subs,but the 2nd release does.
Also I think the same is true for "The Crow"

Just an FYI, but Halloween '78 does have ENG subtitles. Also, Shout Factory and Mill Creek have started to include ENG subtitles with all of their releases.

I think the biggest offender has to be Olive, since they have such a high MSRP, but still skip out on subtitles. At least Echo Bridge only charges like $10 for their cheapass releases.
