Star Wars on Blu at Target's site - Blu-ray Forum

I don't know if this has been posted, but on Target's website, they have a lot of trilogies listed for blu. They have all of the Star Wars sets, the Indiana Jones sets, the Matrix, and the Lord of the Rings.

they are just placeholder listings. They mean nothing.

And there are almost as many posts about these amazon/target pages as there are simply asking when they're coming.

Pretty good rule of thumb. If the listing says "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available" it generally means that it's a placeholder listing.

It is actually a good traffic getter if they use those as key words. With text links etc.

Yes I'd have to agree. Note what they say next to the "Blu-Ray" titles:

It's just a way to get more people's email addresses on their mailing lists. Nothing more. But that might change in the future. How soon, I would not know. It's up to the film studios.
