Ebay Feedback Changes - Blu-ray Forum

Well the era of self destruction has begun! Sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for buyers?!
Let the Feedback extortion begin. I have enacted my own protest and boycotting the whole feedback system all together and not leaving it period!!

Rather disappointed as the whole possiblilty of reprocussion kept people honest. So much for my good feedback score

I certainly have no reason to disbelieve you. Ebay has always heavily favored buyers anyways. Now it's just crossed the point into insanity outright.

It's a pity Ebay has a such a strong, dominant lock on this particular "marketplace."

Its in place now, now way to show you other than you read the ebay feedback policy. I was just leaving feedback and noticed the change.

Yeah, I see it. Like I said, I had no reason to disbelieve you considering Ebay's trends have always been very heavily biased to the buyer.

I guess the best anyone can do is leave neutral and simply make the message in CAPS and as negative as possible. If they even allow that.

They are gonna ruin the integrity of the whole system as buyers will neg over stupid stuff now.Oh well, I am gonna just stop leaving feedback, period. Its a pain in the @$$ anyhow

It's just yet another in a long series of reasons of why only use Ebay when I just absolutely have no other way to unload something and I want to try and make something past nothing for it.

Ebay (aka Flea-Bay) is a great for buyers but just terrible for sellers.

I loved the big deal they made a few months ago about how they had "listened to everyone" and had made some changes.

The only problems is that every change they made was in the exact opposite direction of what they really needed to do!

agreed!! I use it to get rid of my bulk buys!, like stuff that I buy as a package deal and there are things, especially games that would take forever to sell, I unload them and recover my costs plus some

If it wasnt for that I would just use Amazon to sell. Amazon needs to revive their auctions and kill the ebay monopoly.
Now is the time for someone to introduce a good competitor for ebay. Ebay forget that if the sellers didnt list there, the sites traffic would diminish.

Amazon and some other outlets sorely need to step up and start capitalizing.

I am going to watch the forums on ebay and see how much this new system gets abused. On top of the new policy, the mutual agreement to remove feedback has been abolished to avoid extortion.

I know there aren't auctions, but Amazon does have a marketplace. I've obtained a few things from it, mainly rare, discontinued games and anime.

I've never sold anything online before, but I just might have to at some point. I do have a few repeat items in my apartment. Particularly DVDs that I now have on Blu-ray.

makes selling large ticket items risky.... there are a lot of costs associated with taking certain things off the market..... it's gonna be a mess.

When did this go into effect? I bought a headlight a few weeks ago for someone off of ebay, and it came and the item was cracked/repaired where one of the brackets are. I put the item on the car and its fine, but it was advertised as mint condition. I e-mailed the seller and asked him to refund me part of the amount because of the damage, he just said to send it back, which i would do but the guy i got the headlight for already installed it and is driving the car.

So i want to leave him a negative feedback for lyeing about the condition of the item, but i dont want to get a negative feedback for it.
