Default Having weird problem with Casino Royale

I just popped in my Casino Royale once again and everything sounded great as usual but when the opening credits came on the song was off. Chris Cornell's lyrics seemed considerably distant and low and when the backup guy starts singing its much louder than Cornell's. I don't think I messed with my speaker settings as far as I know. Can anyone tell me whats causing this???

That sounds like something I've had happen a couple times with my PS3. That's been with games rather than movies though. A reboot has always fixed it.

It also has some elements of the problem I've seen when trying to watch the problem 7.1 discs (i.e. The Orphanage) with the receiver set to 5.1 but that one occurs with my BD30. Have you tried restarting everything just to make sure it's not a handshaking issue?

Yes I turned it off and back on again, took the disc out, messed with the audio options and its still there. The audio through the rest of the movie seems perfectly fine just the opening song is off. I am assuming its my PS3? Maybe I should try switching the back switch off and on again and see if that clears it up.

To me it sounds like a DSP setting on the reciever or the channel levels got screwed up. I've never had a problem like that when using my PS3...

Make sure all your speaker channels are operating.

Anytime I have a power outage my old Yamaha receiver loses its internal settings. For some reason the front left and right speakers will get shut off (the speaker A & B switch). I also have to change my bass management settings back to where they should be for my speaker setup.
